Using doubled frames in Fantastic Mr. Fox

An interesting thing about the actual animation of the film is that Wes Anderson didn’t want the animation to look as slick as films like coralline which looked almost computer animated. He wanted to people to notice the actual animation so they could appreciate it. He used doubled the frames so that there were 12 per seconds rather than 24. I personally think this was a good decision. It was brilliant with the little jerks, and Anderson was aiming to have jerks in it, and so he accomplished having the jerks.

Car Chase Stop Motion Done By Youtuber

I liked this stop motion because I think the idea of using cars was good. and I liked the way the plasticine characters get out of the sunroofs of their cars and then roll/ fall out. I also liked how different objects come in and out of focus. The movement of the cars was also very well done and the exaggerated drifting looked brilliant.

Halo stop motion i enjoyed watching on youtube

I really liked this stop motion animation. it gave me many ideas for what i can do with my final project. It was all very smooth and it was a homemade video. I particularly like how playdo was used for blood. and the lego characters were a good idea that i also intend to use. It was a 30 minute video and so i have respect for the commitment of whoever made this. Also, the set had a lot of detail and there were many interesting objects used for effects such as lego fire for fire, some sort of cotton material for smoke etc.
